John Houlehan John Houlehan, also known as “Johnny” by the Godfather, is a Kansas City native and proud Jayhawk. Johnny attended St. Thomas More grade school, Rockhurst High School, and then the University of Kansas. After graduating from KU, Johnny received his MBA from Rockhurst University. Growing up with the Anselmo’s as close family friends, Johnny considered Brian as one of the family. So, when the Godfather asked him to dance it was no-brainer. Anything to support Brian and the Anselmo’s is an honor. After being persuaded to take dance lessons while dating his future wife, Annie, Johnny was bitten by the ballroom bug. Currently, Johnny works for DST Systems, Inc. as a Finance Manager. His spare time, aside from dancing and cheering on the Jayhawks, is spent with his wife and two sons, Jack and Teddy. 
Whitney White Whitney started her dance career in 2005 as a member of one of Kansas City's most popular Swing Dance Troops. Since then she has performed for countless audiences including the first three years of Kansas City Dancing with the Stars. Whitney has increased her repertoir and skills by training with some of ballroom's top champions, travelling often to keep current on techniques. For her social students, Whitney emphasizes the responsibilities of each dancer, preparing them for any social event. For competition, she adheres to the DVIDA syllabus, having taken her students as far as the Bahamas to compete and perform. Whitney's soft spoken charm and class create a comfortable learning environment for her students, producing quick results and many happy campers!  |
